mobileme push unmitigated disaster. lifelong apple user, can't express how disappointed , angry @ apple releasing such train-wreck. microsoft embarrassed release such disaster, , falling on make situation right. apple, not word. no admission of havoc they're unleashed on customers, no path forward correct situation, not warning customers not use of mobileme"services" until fixed.
instead, allow customers blindly use service not not work, risks data loss because of inaccurate , inconsistent behavior.
tonight, unregistered computers , deleted mobileme data. then, when tried upload computer's data theoretically empty mobileme database, system told me had inconsistent data , told me password incorrect. after had abandon effort iphone, laptop , desktop share same contact , calendar data. email syncing seems ok, given track record, cannot trust mobileme corrrect. email troubles spell disaster.
apple has falsely advertised service push when in fact 1 aspect of not push @ all. that's bad enough. worse, system has no functional synching system @ all. microsoft exchange has done same function years. apple, please copy microsoft. @ least system works!!!
don't care responsible this, should fired. whether phil schiller or else, kind of product can destroy apple's reputation , drive customers
hands of competitors. microsoft may not care user experience way should, care customer's data.
apple needs pull plug on mobileme, return .mac service operation apologize customers, give them credit compensate them trouble they've caused, , promise not release mobileme again until push , ready.
steve jobs built reputation showing knew how treat customers. now's time show it, steve.
they have read rant, mm home page has more accurate description:
http://www.apple.com/mobileme/features/
