First thing to do?


well, ordered refurbished 8gb touch off apple.com. here time next week. question is, should first? not know hacking/jailbreaking touch. best firmware on jailbreak? know if touch isn't right firmware, easy change downloading other firmware in stickied thread, right? wondering there gmail apps? best aim apps? 'cool' apps? going jailbreak it, want advice.

should update 2.0 problems have been going on hear? don't have pay apps in app store?
 

you dont have pay apps in store, there plenty of free ones, including aim, , such. gmail, webapp still functional, , apple's built in mail app pretty amazing thing.

go 2.0, jailbreak when jailbreak comes out.

if wanna jailbreak now, google 'downgrading ipod firmware' , follow guides downgrade 1.1.4, ziphone (ziphone.org) , follow simple instructions.
