(Alternative) Install Win XP/+Vista Ubuntu on External HDD


hi there,

macbook user 3rd generation (mac os x 10.5.4, 2ghz intel core 2 duo, 4gb ram) , use internal hdd primary education , work. experimenting software photoshop, illustrator, , logic studio etc. further more play games (on windows) , need use windows work or study. @ current moment increase knowledge of linux , interested in ubunutu distribution.

planning order 500 gb external hdd can install ubunto, windows xp (and maybe vista well) , os x 10.5 on it. issue here windows. have searched solution install windows on external hdd , found ngine.de site repeatedly failed install xp on current 80gb external hdd (made several modified iso install cd’s , none works)

have read lot parallels desktop people gaming experience poor (i need windows gaming). alternative vmware still in beta , according many others not powerful parallels.

have read stuff cedega linux allows play windows based games (range of games limited?!. mean need reboot linux in order play games, , have use windows minor programs, in opinion waste of space.

if has solution / suggestion or maybe experience feel free comment.

need help with itunes 7.7
