as many things in life -- depends.

if selling, make sure ship confirmed paypal address, no other. ship name-brand courier company, insurance , signature on delivery, no exceptions. never use paypal face-to-face delivery or pickup orders (if don't have proof of courier delivery, have no defense against 'never received item' claims) take digital photos of goods , packing prove against courier damage.

similar if buying. make sure seller has verified account. double check auction terms , conditions. print out or save pdf of auction page, including seller's feedback rating prove eligibility buyer protection. read auction , paypal fine print know covered , not, , have do. know time periods filing disputes, , if getting close, file before deadline, if have been assured product has been shipped (you can cancel dispute when shipment arrives. can't file after deadline if there problem).
insist on courier delivery insurance , signature on delivery, , pay insurance (this defense against seller claiming sent it). shipping , payment terms detailed in writing seller before sending paypal.

need help with itunes 7.7
