Samsung SyncMaster 245BW - calibrating for OSX


i've tried find calibration settings monitor on forums, geared toward windows (2.2 gamma). i'm looking accuracy because photo/video editing. wondering if has calibrated monitor use osx? settings use on monitor , in osx? buy spyder calibrator can't justify spending on i'll use once or twice.

hey,

in order accurate colors need use hardware device. can't accurate if try eye. if don't want spend money on spyder 2, suggest buy huey pro. picked 1 on cl $50 , works great. note though huey pros out there have hardware defect causes problem severe magenta cast after calibration. hardware defect , pantone actively replacing them.
need calibration more once or twice. have run every 2 weeks lcds out , color changes on them.
