Email-Only "Mobile Me" Account?


there was, staring @ macbook screen, brightness cranked half way , 29% left on battery. stood (sat) there, staring @ .mac account smirk dictated "111 days left on .mac subscription", not knowing fate besiege in few hours. sat while longer, patiently awaiting arrival of mobile me. not long after, hit me. "i don't use these features!"

sad, true. have 1 mac, syncing features useless. online storage, while nice, has never been used. thing use email address. furthermore, new iphone hours away (33.5 @ time of message) take advantage of push email. got me wondering, apple offer "email-only" account .mac, , maybe mobile me? can't justify $100 year (no, not $79 either) glorified email address me. else in same situation?
 

just use gmail. surely they'll have push soon.
