Ugh. Edge was better in my hood.


i've had 1st gen iphone since last june. happen(ed) live in tiny at&t black hole edge (i got blank icon instead of e time), , grey hole phone service (low bars)...on east side of manhattan, in teens. occurred in apt, , on streets around immediate hood.

out of blue, 2 weeks ago, started getting full bars inside apt, got 2 or 3 previously, , full on edge service on immediate area. noticed edge running lot faster less time-outs.

figured maybe had at&t beefing antennae near me, perhaps in anticipation of new iphone launch.

fast forward tonight, after 7 grueling hours in line new 3g iphone... home, sit on front stoop, , check connection. have 2-3 bars, , 3g icon. run couple of different speed tests , slower edge speeds...not slower boosted edge i've been getting month, slower shoddy edge/gprs getting previously.

maybe there's network issue new 3g iphones in nyc? maybe black hole i'm in fixed edge users? maybe spent day of life in boiling sun phone runs slower in neck of woods?

else in retrograde?
 

i dont have 3g, 2 weeks ago, signal boosted in house , edge works great now... strange

need help with itunes 7.7
