Missing import files in iMovie


using imovie, imported 15 minutes length of video handycam sony hdr-sr11 (hard disc type), looks indicator saying "completed importing 15 minutes of video". clip not created on event. tried same 1 hour video , ended same.

click on event , says 'no matching video. choose different option show pop-up menu @ lower left corner'. chosed different option still can not see clips options @ all.

facts :
1. have no issue importing shorter clips ( eg : 5 minutes )
2. disc space totally enough.
3. importing old handycam canon ( minidv type ) has no issue @ all.

idea ?
 

try creating 'test' user account , log out of account. re-sign in under test account , open imovie. surprise.....it works.
no other fix found yet far know.

need help with itunes 7.7
