Automatically switching from 3g to Edge problems


my phone has great 3g , edge reception depending on am. general location outside of philly. have gotten 1.5 mbs 3g, pretty darn good. edge got me around 250k. problem arises while making calls. notice if in 3g area phone use make call. while driving out of 3g range has trouble changing edge on fly. has dropped calls. if pull car on , turn off 3g edge load in 5 seconds , can make call , reception great. overall reception , clarity great going out of 3g area causes problems. wondering if has problem. tried turning off 3g , driving around , things fine. don't mind doing figured transition between 2 better.

p.s. verizon phone lose reception dropping calls iphone. att better when turn off 3g , edge pick full quality. may in real bad area either phone struggle. confused why can't switch faster in call edge if has 4-5 bars.

i wrong, 3g has nothing calls. it's seperate call, leaving or entering 3g area shouldn't affect it.

phone doesn't "use" 3g call. it's data only.
