"No Sim Card Inserted" error on Iphone 3G


so see many had error old iphone. got 3g 2 days ago. since then, have had phone of sudden display "no sim card" message @ top should at&t 3 times already. each time, pick phone make call , discover message. reboot pressing top button , home button @ same time. problem goes away each time. comes in few hours. there way deal it, other reboot doing?
 

i had same problem morning , how fixed it:

hard reset; home + sleep button until unit shuts out.
went settings > general > reset > reset network settings

if doesn't work try doing "reset settings". or if have sim around try switching them out , again.

doing in order got error go away , made phone work again.

need help with itunes 7.7
