record on canon 24F, capture on sony possible?


im recording on canon xh a1 @ 24f. happens if take cassette, put in sony dcr hc48 , capture fcp. im not interested in hd, wondering if can still canon 24f through sony model or better of recording @ 60i? im worried capturing canon xh a1 since wears off ... going web need deinterlaced video, suggestions?

no. 24p not interlaced. 24f not bad thing, not same 24p. 24f interlaced. said, purposes of 24p , 24f simulate , feel of film or record content intention of transferring film. otherwise, better served recording in 30p or 60i. might research various scan modes, purposes, , how work.
