Graphics issue w/ 24" iMac (NOT the screen problem)


i have 24" imac, bought in january 2007. have never had problems (yellowing, color gradient, etc.) screen , believe graphics issue.

play wow mac-side , coh boot camp-side. (my system software still 10.4.11.) few months ago started weird artifacts in both games. have made sure drivers updated , forth. these artifacts include flickering, flashing of blank terrain, lines across screen light graphics in coh rave missions (if makes sense). used crash coh pretty until uninstalled sp3 windows xp , occasional graphics problem described. range mild forcing me quit.

when windows used crash after coh, if rebooted mac, have strange, light square of color, sort of burn-in. if used mouse select area, went normal though erased. playing in firefox , 1 of strange squares appeared @ top of screen.

till have had absolutely no graphical issues playing either game. since problems both started around same time best guess graphics card issue. in imac 7600 gt. don't know if heat issue fans never went on.

wager first step open , give compressed-air cleaning. if doesn't solve it...is video card hosed? i've encountered slowing in sims 2 didn't have before. when not using graphics-intensive applications have no problems, except color square in firefox.

can provide.
 

sure sounds lot problems others have posted when video card failing.

if post picture others have seen able confirm it.

need help with itunes 7.7
