Moving old emails to Gmail


i have 2 pop email addresses access apples mail client. got iphone hoping able access of emails pocket. realized mail servers not hold messages long , of email on laptop. in addition not apples mail client , prefer gmail optimized iphone.

messages on laptop in mail gmail account. not want them forwarded , alter , timestamp etc. there way this?

 

i tested right , think know can do..

web:
-create account on gmail, create new label want use identify 2 other pop email

desktop:
-then using mail client access gmail account using imap settings
-once done downloading info of gmail in mail, see labels created in gmail folder in mail
-drag folder emails have in mail client

web:
-in few minutes try access gmail account online , go label, see emails if sent gmail account.

need help with itunes 7.7
