Mac Pro vs MacBook Pro Need Advice From Music "Power User"


hey macrumors,

long story short, i'm on 5th mac now, using powermac g5 dual 2.0 , 1.83 macbook core duo.

use logic studio , have long time , have 2 hard drives on g5 separate work play - although think combine them next machine , use external hard drive when necessary.

had powerbook g4 loved right before machine well, not go on road anymore (i in school @ time).

trying decide on macbook pro or mac pro next machine. more i'm trying make sure i'll never hit limited if macbook pro. price, mac pro little expensive considering don't music living, hobby.

macbook pro "docked" 75% of time, , me in front of tv, lounging around, etc. rest of time.

has been in situation can offer advice?

the macpro powerful machine , u said pretty high there in price... have base model macbook pro , since summertime , i'm not in schoool, mbp "docked" amount of time.

when got parties dj music comes me cause mbp portable , integrated in set.

i'd go mbp fact powerful , if u ever wanted take anywhere, ur not bound ur desk

need help with itunes 7.7
