Automator and batch image resizing


hi all

in old pc days, used excellent freeware irfan view basic image editing, resizing, conversion , similar tasks.

preview on mac , allows me carry out same tasks, doesn't batch conversion, irfan breeze.

perhaps automator set (or there way in preview haven't yet seen)?

i'm looking image resizing, image renaming, image resizing+renaming, , changing jpg quality. i've played around automator , see 1 can have ask images convert how set other actions?

need help with itunes 7.7
