Missed Launch - iPhone Availability


i out of town launch , have decided purchase iphone 3g. best option of finding one? understand at&t offered direct fulfillment option on launch day can still walk store , pre-order/df one?... or whoever shows first in morning?

called local at&t stores , said they're not expecting till next week. local apple store said daily shipments, though online availability checker saying there none in stock.

 

dont follow apple online availability thing. lies. said apple store had none in stock. went there anyways , there line of 100 ppl waiting. saw people walking out brand new iphones.

need help with itunes 7.7
