Unknown error (-4)??


long story short..

got new 3g iphone.
activated it, working fine.
used back-up of old iphone, new 1 starts acting weird.
download 2.0 restore.
restore, phone tries activate again.
repetition of error (-9838)
keep trying till phone has opened again. can use calls , whatever, assume that's that. notice data has gone, attempt sync.
except when plug in hangs again on accessing itunes store, , cuts out 'unknown error (-4)'
can't sync it.

server overload or has itunes somehow broken phone?
 

i got 3g , plugged in , getting same error.

need help with itunes 7.7
