on 10.4, in individual files in ~/library/caches/safari

you've got guess file, or else i've read there tools can , tell which.

in 10.5 & 10.5.1, in ~/library/caches/com.apple.safari/cache.db i'm not sure how extract file it, sqlite3 database, place start looking tools.

in 10.5.2+, appear stored in strange place. script defragmenting safari cache uses find locate @ in /private/var/folders tree.

cd /private/var/folders
thecache=`find . -iname "cache.db" |grep safari|head -n1`
echo $thecache
