How to charge computer during road trip


hi everyone,
girlfriend , taking camping road trip need use computer during day. since camping, won't able charge (sorry state obvious). our car has 12v lighter adapter. i've searched forums , seems need dc inverter , can plug computer charger that. have macbook pro. looked @ inverters on amazon, confused kind need. sort of specs for? also, there should careful in regards car? or suggestions appreciated.

need help with itunes 7.7
