HELP! IPOD is connected, on desktop, but won't show up on Itunes


i've looked on help, , found nothing!

ipod says connected, , ipod image on desktop, connected desktop. . . when go itunes there nothing there.

- i've updated 7.7
- restarted computer billion times
- ejected , rejected ipod
- went disk utilities, there
, yet nothing in itunes relates ipod

ipod working last night, ejected it, , when woke morning plugged computer, , connected, on desktop nothing in itunes.

i've received no messages saying somethings wrong or nothing. . . need help!

don't want reset ipod or lose songs because of crazy this. . . have 4,500 songs, take forever. . .
 

quit , relaunch itunes. has solved ipod/itunes connectivity issues me.

need help with itunes 7.7
