Apple Getting Closer to Launching iPhone in South Korea?

the chosun ilbo reports apple has posted job listing "korea iphone account manager" based out of seoul, suggesting apple may getting closer launching iphone 3g in south korea. according listing, responsibilities of position "manage day day issues of our chosen carrier, ensure healthy relationship , develop market."

the chosun ilbo notes negotiations between apple , potential korean carriers rumored have not been proceeding well, due @ least in part requirement phones used in south korea utilize country's wireless internet platform interoperability (wipi) platform. however, new job listing suggests apple may becoming more optimistic prospects of agreement being reached.
