Pretty sure I have a computer virus....help


ok here's deal

of late running slow, opening macrumors takes forever! can't take it, it's painful. iphone loads quicker imac.

trying add pictures word document next impossible. transition used flawless. now, adding picture can take anywhere 3-5 mins (i clocked it). , then...resizing it....it's ridiculous.

i've noticed general lag in time when:
- opening website in safari or firefox
- opening/viewing photos in iphotos

computer information:
20' imac
2.16 ghz
osx 10.4.11


fyi, it's not of connections
mba , pos dell not have problems doing of above tasks

so, guess first question there way of finding out if has (free???)

have other questions figure better save them until know sure.

haven't heard of regarding viruses macs yet. have depends on types of sites visited , e-mails opened. long go trusted website , open trusted e-mails shouldn't have virus.

opinion try program onyx clear caches , try other things. if doesn't work, possibly reinstall of mac os x.

need help with itunes 7.7
