HP DV9340 vs Macbook

hi,

i'm new forum been reading macrumors.com long long time.

i'm considering getting macbook (depending on how hp dv9340 laptop).

laptop has following specs;

microprocessor 1.66 ghz intel® core™ 2 duo processor t5500
memory 2048 mb (2x 1024 mb) level 2 cache 2 mb
memory max up 2 gb ddr2
video graphics nvidia® geforce™ go 7600
video memory 256 mb (dedicated)

how compare 2.4ghz macbook?

i've stopped playing games - football manager 2008 or sims 2.

macbook cope sims 2 , level?

i'm not techie when comes processors, 2.4ghz kick ass compared have now?

@ disadvantage macbook i'd losing nvidia graphics card??

you take pretty decent blow performance on games. biggest factors in game performance gpu , ram long have halfway decent cpu. current cpu has more enough power run games. have lower video quality settings games.

there won't many other disadvantages lack of dedicated gpu in macbook. don't think geforce 7000 series gpu's supported slowing increasing number of gpu accelerated programs due lack of cuda.

if gaming @ important either spend cash on macbook pro or better build el cheapo desktop pc gaming rig.
