iPhone 3G locked/unlocked?


with iphone 3g being available in many more countries, including japan , hong kong, know whether there countries phones unlocked? (unlocked meaning not hardware locked specific carrier)
 

france sell unlocked handsets, not sure of price though

need help with itunes 7.7
