Can someone explain activesync to me?


previously had windows mobile phone. 'dock' it, , activesync pick up, in turn transferring email , calendar it. there nothing wireless this. if wanted update, have physically dock phone somewhere in organisation.

now, sj seems pitching iphone push email device using activesync, i'm bit confused needs doing on exchange side of things, activesync in eyes, way of syncing stuff whilst connected cable.

sorry if it's dumb question; i'm not au fait kinda stuff!

need help with itunes 7.7
