can't install 2.0 - HELP!


i able update itunes, downloaded , went thru motions when got updating firmware, got unknown error (20) message , not able restore firmware. said had restore, erase on iphone. tried proceeded download 1.1.4 update. tried install , again failed same error message. when re-plug-in iphone mac, says found iphone in recovery mode. plus iphone showing me graphic i've never seen of usb wire pointing itunes logo. stuck , unable update or restore , have no phone call apple with. do? please help!
 

i downloaded 200 meg file itunes when said update available. got no errors phone shows connector pointing itunes disk, phone doesn't show in itunes & says can't connect itunes store.

need help with itunes 7.7
