Restoring a 1st gen iPhone running 2.0


i upgraded 2.0 firmware last night leaked xml link mac. however, has been buggy , tried restore , download actual file itunes. whenever hit restore, however, says cannot find software.

searched around , tried fix delete apple mobile device support, itunes, restarted , reinstalled...but still not allowing me restore. on hard restore or other way?

need help with itunes 7.7
