Mac Pro, Leopard, and M-Audio


i, many others, have experienced major headaches gear , leopard , macpro. advised buy m-audio fasttrack pro, drivers product year out of date. it's worthless, blowing out speakers , amp. here's question: why can't macpro sound output/input handle daw cubase 4, , what's best solution in regards replacement. there internal sound cards now? ultimately, i'd love find quarter inch inputs , quarter inch , rca outputs. , i'd find product can mac os date, , not have wait months drivers. ideas?
