iPhone Buying Methods


now speculation on instore activations , 3g iphone release, guys think going happen in store?

have couple of ideas on happen.

1. apple may allow online purchases, not allow shipping order until sign contract vodafone, optus, at&t , whoever provider is. selling price subsidized prices, remember, theory.

2. apple store selling them , unlocking them carrier supporting iphone 3g. eg. walk apple store, walk concierge "hey there, i'd purchase iphone" ask you're details, ask provider wish sign with, plan, , if wish pay subsidized price prior you're purchase or included in plan.

3. apple sell iphone @ subsidized price , let walk out of store locked, , must take home , unlock itunes whichever provider wish.

anyways ideas, post yours!
 

i not sure understand concept of 'locked' phones....

apple not have authority unlock phone without permission o2, at&t, etc, surely break contract apple have these companies....?

mean isn't simple apple assign carrier phone.... plus stop customer saying different carrier.... risk carriers not take , im sure ind of thing written in length in agreements apple has them.

need help with itunes 7.7
