Iphone receiving spam calls


hi,
unlocked iphone 1st gen using ziphone. process went no problems , able use iphone existing sim card. since have started using iphone, receiving calls unknown numbers @ unusual times. know if unlocking iphone expose phone number people? there way block these calls or something?

i'm not technical, highly doubt spam calls result of unlocking phone.

need help with itunes 7.7
