gps like.. doesn't exist


i started playing iphone couple of hours ago , working except gps! location based services on, no application (including maps) can find location. little spinny thing keeps going , going. i've turned location based on , off, phone on , off, , reset phone, no avail. also, inside, , tho had full service, pogue said nyc buildings cut gps went outside intersection there space in sky , still, nothing. it's if gps chip doesn't exist.

ideas on else do? i'm sensing trip apple store tomorrow , i'm not happy it!
 

both friend , had same issues. haven't discovered exact fix have gotten work on both phone , friends. tried restore on mine not required friends work. did power off both devices in getting gps work. additionally went preferences , turned off location services exited preferences , went in , turned them on , exited again. lastly, did not have friend did, went general options , went reset , there reset location warnings. after when go maps app sure allow use location services. hope combination of these things helps out. know annoyed when didn't work @ first. luck!

need help with itunes 7.7
