i have macbook pro 2 years old, still covered under applecare. batter crapping out on me (seems have dropped around 85% capacity down 23%, has 366 cycles on it). question is; applecare cover battery, can replaced under warranty? tells me battery isn't covered past 1 year...
--thanks.
apple's warranty (3-year applecare or not) covers batteries have failed due manufacturing defects only. batteries considered consumable items, unfortunately.
battery has lot of cycles on it. kind of doubt apple offer replacement under warranty, can't hurt try. more info here.
can try calibrating battery , see if helps any.
