Phones still bricked?


i wondering if phones still getting bricked when upgrading 1.4? have 1.4 on iphone, planning give iphone friend, has t-mobile, , myself new 3g. worried upgrading 2.0 brick phone. don't know how 2.0 affect unlocked phone, wanted see if bricking problem 1.1.2 or whatever version was, or if it's ongoing issue?

 

i think firmware 1.1.4 has been thoroughly hacked inside out , upside down, doubt there danger. os2.0 has no current hack jailbreak, however.

need help with itunes 7.7
