Can't seem to use more than 50% cpu


no matter can't seem other 50% of cpu usage. earlier encoding songs itunes-lame , adding them itunes, surfing web, , watching movies vlc, , according istatpro never used more 50% cpu, kind of annoying since encoding pretty slowly. you'd figure 48% cpu "idle", i'd able encode little faster ~5.7x got :confused: maybe i'm not sure use both cores, figured mp3 encoding have done
 

try ripping dvd handbrake. job.

besides, think os likes leave core available if doing web surfing or other light activities. (just observation)

oh , make sure power settings set better performance.
