Developers Allowed to Interface With Native Apps?

i'm astonished nobody has created app syncs ical's to-dos.

nobody has written app syncs notes.

nobody has created "my day" app displays unread mail, today's appointments , to-dos.

nobody has created simple two-click way turn 3g on , off.

i'm guessing developers either aren't allowed bento-ize native iphone/mac data. know if true? mean, there deep, extremely impressive apps. great games. things simple "flashlight" turns screen white, , nobody has come idea of app syncs , displays ical's to-do lists? no way.

ya developers can't edit original apps. wish wish uninstall native apps. *cough* stocks *cough*
