want make dive dslrs, , think d40 best way (given teenager's salary). interested in lenses. don't care if smaller lens doesn't have vr, wanted 55-200mm have image stabilization, given distance , interest in exploring macro photography. figure these lenses, can photograph gorgeous landscapes in area, everyday uses (friends, family, etc.) , flowers , bugs , such. larger sd card nice have, along lowepro nova mini aw shoulder bag , lens cleaning kit.

understand tripods worthless, have tripod use.

so, price right? missing something?

btw, camera comes under nikon warranty.
 

as long realize you're buying refurbished, it's decent deal starter camera , start lenses. when feel need, better glass. in opinion, buy body , save money towards lens.
