What could be causing these funky icons in my Dock?


i have dock set magnify roll on , i've noticed portions of icons disappearing when roll on them. when roll off of them, go normal.

ideas?

(mac pro quad 2.8, 2 gigs ram, ati radeon hd 2600 256 meg)

have received these strange looking icons on dock.

have noticed them after using idvd.

not sure why occurs, end performing 'restart' , fixes problem.

added bonus of restarting seems keep beach ball of death spinning out of control.

need help with itunes 7.7
