Tried to update old iphone to 2.0 and broke it


any here great guys.

tried update old iphone software 2.0 wife use as
ipod touch. after downloading patch , syncing, itunes not recognize device. phone has message "no sim card installed : insert unlocked , valid sim activate iphone"

there way 1) itunes recognize phone again
2) update software 2.0 , put stuff on it


in advance help.

need help with itunes 7.7
