iPhone in Spain on Movistar... any sign yet?


since friday, have been trying various movistar outlets on costa blanca - , no luck. despite being listed on movistar website selling iphones, few staff appear know when iphone arrive (one advised me 'possibly coming week'), goodness knows how activation work if clueless!!

out of ten stores checked, closest found new eci in elche, has crumpled poster of iphone , dented wooden stand proudly proclaims iphone 'available already' - despite there being no actual display model yet , staff 'mañana'.

aside - no evidence of iphones of monday 14th, no point of sale equipment, , few knowledgable staff despite of these stores being listed on movistar/iphone 'microsite'!!!

so, come on steve, please give spain call , ask them politely if going bother launch product time year????
 

none here in mojacar, almeria either. iphone launch in spain has been total disaster. 3000 units provided apple launch.

movistar called me today , said no white iphone 3g until autumn in spain :mad:

need help with itunes 7.7
