No email, no text


bought couple of 3g iphones , strange things afoot. phones work great, voicemail , internet also. can't email or text messaging work. isn't text phone based? wouldn't expect have text , email problems.
far, both got batch of emails when synced. haven't got since then. frustrating...
camera works though...at least got this.
