(note: i’ve heard doesn’t appear on machines, not sure why yet.)

• new: xbmchelper installed ~/library/application support/xbmc, people don’t have problem upgrading application because file in use. helper automatically upgraded if needed well.
• fix: helper settings section has been renamed “remote helper” since handles more apple remote.
• fix: no longer prevent using helper if you’ve installed remote buddy. there should no problem using 2 together, although honest, don’t use myself. many developer working on one.
• fix: annoying problem apple remote brings both front row , osxbmc *should* fixed. more “worked around” actually, because it’s bug in os x. side effect when helper running, it’s possible applications quicksilver (who capture keys) won’t work. “possible” because (a) haven’t tried , (b) don’t use quicksilver while watching movies.
• fix: crash on startup case-sensitive partitions. brent helping me track 1 down.
• fix: regression prevented images loading on smb (does nobody use app view photos anymore?)
• fix: removed broken resolutions screen settings. we’ll changing screen modes @ point, @ same time switch refresh rates different media.
• new: apple movie trailers script updated latest version (thanks, nuka!)
• fix: default port web server has been changed 3000.
• new: latest version of ofdb scraper included.
• fix: keymap has new entry switching between audio languages in full-screen (the ‘a’ key). also, ‘c’ key works obtain context menu in file manager view (which needed eject optical media). obtain these new settings, you’ll need whack old keymap.xml file.
• new: when starting scratch, default sources.xml installed provides people basic sources photos, music , video. many isaac these last 4 items!
• fix: smart folder code has been reworked bit. it’s *possible* of scanning issues jeremy running fixed. if not, it’s not fault of smart folders.
• fix: i’ve increased latency few milliseconds in portaudio code reduce or rid of underflows entirely (resulting in audio dropouts). please see if notice improvement, , check log if you’d see latency it’s using. n.b. change subliminal (e.g. on system latency went 1.5ms around 9ms.)
• fix: says don’t save best last? annoying bug app hangs when canceling video that’s buffering (e.g. youtube or amt or ftp)? fixed!

stuff cherry-picked well:

• vulkanr got dvd playing working. should able insert dvd drive , watch play. eject, go file manager , use context menu. if doesn’t eject right away, try again. brilliant stuff, vulkanr! fixed python crash.
• jmarshall fixed <blackbarcolour> setting, , lots of other little things.
• charleydoes fixed crash on exit , slow query.
• spiff added .ogv/.oga file extensions.
