Messaging without AT&T SMS charges?


can tell me definitively whether messaging applications such aim make use of at&t's sms service? count myself among many disappointed at&t didn't include sms messages in new 3g packages, i'd find messaging solution won't result in me paying $.20 every time send or receive message. there seem several messaging applications, novice, it's not clear result in at&t charge , totally free. in advance!!!
 

i think aim client can send sms messages other phones , it'll charged data, since have unlimited data on iphones should free.
