Tertiary Hard Drive not Mounitng after Kernel Panic


i have mac pro 2.66 quad 8gb ram.
have 3 drives:
main: 250gb
sec: 750gb
third: 750gb

installed office 2008 on mac , immedeatly after installing had kernel panic. reebooted mac , uninstalled office. noticed third hard drive not mounting.

here have done no avail correct problem:

1. reeboot machine again
2. swap drive bays (3 times)
3. turn off mac overnight , put box fan blowing on make sure cooling. (extreme wishful thinking know.. hey..)

after 3 days drive showed again. has had similar problem? drive bad? think had somthing kernel panic?

werd up?

need help with itunes 7.7
