Placing print on paper, iPhoto vs. Photoshop


hi folks. i'm spending summerholiday printing load of old photos, , iphoto bugging me badly. how decide myself scale of picture print, , place on paper? apparently, load of "user-friendly" pre-settings choose between, neither of want.
@ moment i'm using iphoto (08) locate pictures , opening them in photoshop (cs2) print preview allow me scale , place please. there way job using iphoto?

need help with itunes 7.7
