Is AppleCare worth it?


i'm going getting myself imac soon, don't know if applecare worth it. have credit card doubles warranties, should double initial 1 year right? year of applecare worth it, or applecare warranty doubled well? it's $130, i'd know if $130 spent. imacs break lot?

need help with itunes 7.7
