HUDs vs Sensors


hi,

what's preventing game developers put on translucent control-pad hud's instead using sensor/ tilt function? sensor navigation gets boring , pretty same pretty fast. every game sensor navigation feels same. , want straight @ screen when playing.

(imagine kind of old nes controller pad more contemporary , translucent)
 

nothing, don't tend work well. try bomberman, uses hud's , no accelerometer.

accelerometer has "cool factor" , more tactile. unfortunately, no tactile feedback, iphone screen isn't great controller games. also, end blocking view!!!
