Lock screen with background apps still running?


first off, have done research quite while on subject, havent found solve issues.

way lock screen, of apps continue working in background, screen saver works. problem screensaver (with password) uses administrator password. able use different password screen lock, (ie friend needs use computer when i'm @ work, rather them have privledges etc..).

know have user setup, doesn't solve issue, have use 'fast user switching', disallows programs (internet).

found 1 app, utility lock, works precisely how want too, wont allow screen sleep. think developer has abandoned project well. (i've tried sleeping monitor activating utility lock (timed), wakes monitor up).

summarize, screen lock can have own password, allows background apps run.

has suggestions.

fast user switching allows background apps access internet. tested 10.4.11. should same 10.5.

need help with itunes 7.7
